What does Dermal Needling do?
A minimally-invasive non-surgical and non ablative procedure for facial rejuvenation and scar revision.
Dermal needling involves very fine micro needles penetrating the skin to proliferate collagen formation, gain deeper penetration of collagen stimulating products and to break down scar tissue. The result is the regeneration of vital collagen and elastin fibres that provide support for the skin, a proliferation of new skin cells and the formation of new capillaries for improved blood supply.
A course of three to six treatments is recommended to achieve optimal results. As individual results vary, sometimes more or less may be needed. Results may take 12 weeks to appear fully.
It is important to note, not all imperfections will be removed.
Dermal Needling treatment can help with the following:
- Skin tightening, natural collagen induction, lifting and rejuvenation
- Healing acne scars and wounds
- Improving wrinkles and fine lines
- Open pore minimisation
- Improving stretch marks
- Reducing the appearance of scarring
- Reducing pigmentation and sun damage
- Improving your skin’s ability to absorb creams, gels and other topical preparations
