What is Plamere Fibroblast?

Fibroblast Plasma Lift is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a device fitted with a tiny needle to deliver heat to the skin to tighten and firm it. Using an electrical plasma spark to heat tiny columns of the skin, skin fibers are minimized, and collagen production is boosted, leading to the tightening and removal of excess skin. In technical terms, a plasma arc causes superficial damage to the upper dermal layer of the skin and transmits heat to the lower levels of the skin. This causes the new skin to generate collagen and elastin fiber that we lose as we age.

Fibroblast Plasma Lift removes or reduces fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, sagging skin on your neck or tummy, and eliminates skin imperfections like skin tags and sun damage. The results are only comparable to plastic surgery, and in most areas, are permanent.

Comparing prices to alternative treatments.  The cost of Fraxel laser skin resurfacing is $1,800 - $2,500 and a facelift is $7,200 - $10,000.

How Long Does it Last?
The results are permanent, although it does not stop your natural aging process, you should still see lasting results for years as they would with cosmetic surgery. For longer lasting results you should maintain a healthy lifestyle, avoid smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure.

Advantages vs Surgery:

  • No incision of skin
  • No stiches
  • No risk associated with anaesthetics or surgery
  • Minimal side effects and far less downtime
  • No thinning of skin
  • Induces collagen growth
  • Significant cost savings
  • Natural results
  • Immediate results visible

The Procedure
It is best to arrive with clean skin without any make-up on the treatment area. A numbing cream is applied on the treatment area for 30 minutes. When the treatment area is sufficiently numb the session begins. You may feel some heat in the treatment area, which may be uncomfortable and slightly painful (equivalent to sunburn discomfort). Treatment time is usually betwee 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Immediately after the treatment, you may experience a burning sensation, but it should only last a few hours, and your skin therapist will apply a cooling gel to the treatment area and provide you with thorough aftercare instructions to ensure that you see the best results.

You will see immediate results after your treatment, but the best results will be seen after six weeks.
If you require additional treatments it can be done at 6-week intervals.

How much does it cost?

Plamere Fibroblast is a very effective non-surgical treatment.  Cost depends on the area being treated.  Prior to treatment a separate appointment is required to ensure your skin is prepared so it will get the maximum benefit from the treatment.  This short appointment only takes 20 min.  It will ensure you know what you need to do and expect pre and post treatment so you get the best outcome.
